Hey hey hey everybody!!!
Sorry its been a while, I'm not the most consistent at these emails hehehe but these weeks have been amazing and transfer news came and we get to stay one more here in Fogo!!! I actually love our area and its the only place here in Cabo Verde that is this green right now. Because of the rain we get almost every other day everywhere is like florescent green right next to the bright blue of the ocean.... its not fair, if I were to ever build a summer house, it would be here no doubt :) highly recommend for all you out there looking for a good place ;)
Anyways, yep these weeks have been an adventure like always! Had a zone service project in bila helping clean up and good amount of trash! Then had a district council with the presence of our dear president Wunderli and his wife and the APs which was exciting. Really fun to get to have him at our chapel over here are the end of the island at a meeting run by us. Usually we all travel to bila to have zone conference together and it's focused on President. But this time he came to us! Super fun to see them again and chat with Sister Wundeli. She's literally the most amazing person!!! If you don't know her i also recommend hanging out with her once she gets back :)
Other news, our trio was broken up.... Sister Berhan went over to stay in Cova Figeuira for the last week of the transfer so we were back to 2!!! Love her ♡♡♡
BUT I'm hyped to get to stay with Sister villy and reap the rewards of our white washing. Some of our friends are really progressing and we're excited to get to continue working with all of them!!!
Explanation of my title... our friend from Boston told me the other day, cause i was wearing slides, that my feet are starting to look like wheres waldo because of my chaco tan line kkkkk i guess it happens when you wear chacos everyday for a year :))
Other fun stories, we started chatting with one of our taxis and turns out his life had been changed by the Bible so we asked him if we gave him another book that could change his life, if he'd read it. He said yeah so we handed him a book of Mormon and marked a time to chat again. Sad news, turns out he's adventist and had a good amount of questions for us. But it was overall a good experience since its good to feel and see the difference. Defending and testifying the book of mormon is one of my favorite things. LOVE the spirit that comes immediately once you start talking about this powerful book full of truths. Best feeling ever :)
Anyways, just wanna express my love for my life. If you guys didn't know, Cabo verde (here in Mosteiros) is one of the most beautiful places in the world right about now. Lushous green everywhere, a beautiful blue ocean 10 feet from the road we walk everyday, (we might've or might've not taken a walk on the beach one night kkkk) and such a loving people always ready to welcome you into their house and talk about God. Im not the best with words or describing my feelings but I LOVE this gospel and my Heavenly Father with my whole heart!! Never forget you're a divine child of an ALL POWERFUL Father who will never stop loving you!!!
Scripture of the week: Luke 8:50 "But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole."
Love you all!!! N kre nhos txeu!! Até próxima vez!! :))
Sister Jensen ♡♡♡
