Sept. 26, 2022-A li lá li

Olá gente!!! Kuale? Comodê? Tudo dretu? Suave na nave? Fixola na tola?

Espero que sim!! Kkkkk

Welcome back to the monthly update from Sister Jensen hahaha Hope you're all doing well!

These past couple weeks have been flying so I'll try to hit everything... :)
- Zone Conference in bila which was a literal spiritual FLOOD!! I just sat there and was in awe at how strong I could feel the spirit and how quickly you can recognize Him.. I swear Sister Wunderli has a super power, as soon as she opens her mouth you feel so touched!! I think I've cried in every one of her trainings including this last Friday.
-got to spend a day with the one and only Sister Teare who is so amazing I literally love her to death!! And so fun to still get to be on the same island as her ♡♡♡
-had literally all of our less actives and friends come to church last week and this week!!! And of course this called for a ward photo which we then printed, signed, and posted on the chapel bulletin board. Now they'll never forget us hehehhe
- funny story!!! We went up to Atalaia after zone conference and taught this family about the gospel of Jesus christ and right after the little son got up and grabbed a cup of water, went to the doorway and poured it on his head, turned around and said, "jam batiza" (I've already been baptized) Sister Villavicencio and I just looked at each other and tried not to laugh (I've learned how much I love kids here awhhh they're the best)
-other crazy thing, imagine this... you're walking to church on a nice Sunday morning. You suddenly hear the regular call, "Hey Elder!" You automatically look over, and the man on the other side of the street then asks if you have one of "those books." He then proceeds to pull out a book of Mormon from the waistband of his shorts. Claims its old and wants a new one. These street convos never get old.
-BUT we absolutely love our friends!! AND Sundays!! getting to see everyone show up in their church best!!! This week the car coming from Atalaia and Djeu was packed full going back home!!! Most beautiful sight!!! Our ward is growing so much and it brings a different kind of joy.

Spiritual thought!!
This week I was studying more about the reason behind why we do the things we do. I have been trying to check myself as I serve and love and ask myself why. I realized I have only one answer. I do it for The Savior. I could be called to wherever in the world and I would serve and love the people because of Christ. He loved and loves everyone and as we try to become more like Him we serve and get to feel the love He has for everyone around us. Go show Christ's love for someone this week and help them remember who's the MVP of their team!!!

I love you all!! And more importantly our big brother does even more!!! ♡♡♡♡ nunca esqueça!!!

Sister Jensen ♡♡♡
