Hey family and friends!!!! Once more, here's the update from the life of sister Jensen!!
This week was awesome!!! We had a ton of great lessons both here in Queimada, Djeu, and Atalaia!!! With a ton of our friends come to church too!! Our friend Yara from Atalaia got baptized on Sunday after church and all her friends came to support and it was the cutest thing to see them all waiting on the street for the Hiace to pick them up :) besides the fact that the font overflowed, then almost completely drained before the baptism, it all worked out in the end!! and the cherry on top was that Yara bore her testimony of the happiness she felt and how she knew this is the true church. She had the most sincere smile on her face afterwards. So sweet to get to be a part of such a marvelous work!!!!
We also had a ward activity on Saturday and went to play soccer against another ward (Relva) which was fun besides some complications like usual!!
But on Saturday we got transfer calls and you'll never guess... I'm headed to São Vicente and dying with my mtc comp Sister EVERITT!!!! and I'm so excited you don't even know!!!! Awhh gonna be the best weeks, I'm so pumped!!
But with that the next day was actually quite sad. Went up to bear my testimony and started tearing up at the end because of the love that I feel for everyone in this ward. It has grown so much and I have come to love each one of them so much its hard to just get up and leave. I said goodbye to some of the members after and our bestie Matilde started tearing up. I love her so much and know that some of that love that I felt comes from Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ. They love everyone infinitely and when we serve selflessly we get a glimpse of that love. I can testify that His love is so powerful, never-ending, infinite, forgiving, and is actually the only thing we need. Whatever the problem, Jesus is always the answer and His love has a healing power ready to help in whatever situation we are in.
Sorry for the spiritual rant but I'm so grateful for my Savior and His love.
