Hey friends and family!!!
So this week was crazy!!! We had transfers so we had our last family night with Taxinho and his fam Monday night before leaving early Tuesday morning. I took my last hiace over to bila and jumped on my fourth boat back to Praia. Got to stay in Terra Branca with the sisters there and saw my child, sister Schoen for like 3 hours and it was the best!!!!! She's the cutest and now a mom too, so got to catch up with her for a little which was amazing!! Then I took my first plane here in Cabo Verde up to Sal and then São Vicente which was amazing!! Still crazy to me how our transfera consist of flying and taking boats everywhere. Haha but luckily I found a comp in the airport and got to ride with the famous James who was traveling up to São Vicente as well. And believe it or not here it's literally, a WHOLE NEW WORLD!!! (Sing it Ariele)
It's so different here!! Different kriole and accent and they have paved roads, its a city which has a whole different feel as well. Its the first time I've been transfered and not white washed or opened the area so it's been so fun to get to learn so much from my new comp which is indeed SISTER EVERITT who was my mtc comp and its been amazing to get to see her again and serve with her!!! Awhh it's awesome and we've planned a fire transfer together!!! About to see some serious miracles :)
Other than that, our ward here had an amazing ward activity where we all went to São Pedro and pretty much opened that area. We all went and pretty much did contacts with everyone there introducing the church!! It was amazing and so inspiring to see the amazing faith and love they have for this gospel!!
We watched our last MLC together on Friday which was on zoom but was amazing to get to see the miracles we saw last transfer in the whole mission!!! God had been working with us and its amazing to see it all happen! President gave my last area a shoutout for the progress it has made and it helped me realize the help we have received these last couple transfers! God is so good and is ON OUR SIDE!!! Never forget it.
Then of course church was so great! Our recent convert in our ward that was baptized last week borrowed a friends shirt and passed the sacrament for the first time!!! He came earlier than we did and was all ready which was adorable!!!
Anyways, already in love with this ward and area and so excited!!! Love you all and hope you have a fantastic week!!!
